What is Kisspeptin? 

Kisspeptin is a naturally occurring neuropeptide that plays a central regulatory role in human reproduction and sexual behaviour.

How Kisspeptin works 

Kisspeptin binds to receptors in the hypothalamus, effectively acting as a master switch for reproductive hormone signalling. By restoring or enhancing natural GnRH pulsatility, it supports downstream hormone balance in a way that is physiological rather than suppressive. 

Importantly, Kisspeptin also acts directly on key brain regions involved in sexual desire, arousal, and emotional processing, differentiating it from therapies that only target blood flow or peripheral mechanisms.

Current research models explore Kisspeptin in relation to: 

- Libido & sexual desire support

- Fertility & ovulation research 

- Hormore regulation & balance 

- Mood and emotional regulation via central brain pathways

These findings remain experimental and are limited to laboratory and preclinical research environments.
